This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the Qarzdaftar mobile application (“App”), why it is processed, when it may be sent to third-party services, and the choices available to you. The App is provided by Shokhruz Khalikov (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Qarzdaftar records are primarily stored locally on your device. The Developer does not automatically upload the complete local database to a Developer-owned server. If you manually create or export a backup and choose iCloud Drive or another file provider, that provider stores the backup under your account and according to your settings.
The voice AI assistant is optional. Before the microphone starts, the App displays a notice and asks you to consent to processing by OpenAI. If you cancel, the assistant does not start. You can stop the assistant at any time.
When you activate the assistant, the App sends microphone audio, transcripts, your questions, search requests, conversation context and the read-only data needed to answer the request directly to OpenAI. Depending on your question, this may include client names, phone numbers, debt amounts, currencies, transactions, dates, notes, balances, turnover information or summaries. The assistant is not permitted to create, edit or delete your financial records.
The Developer does not receive or store this OpenAI request content on a Developer-owned server. OpenAI processes the information as an independent service provider under the agreement and settings associated with the API key you configure. OpenAI may retain API data for safety, abuse monitoring or legal purposes according to its applicable policies and account settings. Do not activate the assistant or request information about another person unless you have a lawful basis and any permission required to process and transmit that information. Avoid speaking or storing information that is not necessary for your bookkeeping purpose.
If an Apple speech-recognition feature is used, audio or transcription data may also be processed by Apple according to Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Telegram integration is optional. When you choose to send a document, the App may transmit the generated PDF, Telegram chat identifier and information contained in that document to Telegram using the bot token you supplied. Telegram processes this information under its Privacy Policy.
Purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. Apple provides the App with transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock paid features. Apple’s processing of payment and account information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Information is disclosed only when you activate a feature that requires a service provider, as described above; when necessary to provide or secure the App; when required by law; or when needed to protect legal rights and safety. Third-party providers process information under their own terms, privacy policies and retention rules.
The App requests system permissions only when required for a feature, such as Contacts, Microphone or Speech Recognition. You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Features that depend on a revoked permission may no longer work.
Local records remain on your device until you delete individual records, replace or delete the database, or remove the App. Backups remain with the file provider you selected until you delete them there. You can remove configured API credentials inside the App or by deleting the App. Data already sent to Apple, OpenAI, Telegram or a backup provider is subject to that provider’s retention and deletion procedures.
We use iOS security features and reasonable technical measures intended to protect information. The OpenAI API key is stored in the iOS Keychain. However, no storage or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, Apple Account, API keys, Telegram token and backups. Do not share an API key or bot token with another person.
You can review and delete local records inside the App, delete exported backups from their storage provider, revoke system permissions in iOS Settings, stop using optional OpenAI or Telegram features, remove configured credentials, manage or cancel a subscription through Apple, or delete the App. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction or deletion by contacting us.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under 18 should use optional third-party services only with permission from a parent or guardian where required. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so appropriate action can be taken.
Apple, OpenAI, Telegram and file providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their respective policies describe the safeguards and locations applicable to their services.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
